Introduction to the role of Production Coordinator

I had the chance recently to talk to individuals interested in production management in person in Cardiff and virtually via Zoom to those attending in Leeds, Newcastle and Manchester.

I shared my background and why I love production management and the relevant skills and career path to take as a Production Coordinator in unscripted TV, plus answered many brilliant questions from the attendees.

It was all part of the 'Introduction to the role of Production Coordinator' taster days run by NFTS Leeds & NFTS Cymru Wales in association with the BBC, which will be followed by FREE training in the Production Coordinator role in November & December.  I'll be back again to run a day of this training in Cardiff in November focusing on the role within unscripted TV.

Applications for the free course are now closed, but you can find out more about what it involves here - https://nfts.co.uk/bbc-nfts-introduction-role-production-coordinator

I’ll be working with the NFTS again in the new year running a 1-day budgeting course for unscripted TV.  I’ll post the details when it’s live to book.  Plus, some additional bespoke training for a very exciting training programme they are running.  More details to follow.
